Gender Differences in Bipolar Disorder
This work examines the bibliographic evidences on the gender differences in the psychopathological expression of the bipolar disorder, and focalizes on these three main aspects: 1) higher probability of women to develop rapid cycling disorders; 2) higher number depression episodes in women than in men; 3) higher frequency of mixed states in women.
