pedofilia
Pedophilia: do effective treatments exist?
Since the Eighteenth Century, pedophilia has been considered an illness; currently,
it is included in the paraphilias (DSM-IV). This is why it should be treated
and an appropriate therapy should be found for it. The purpose of this article
is to analyze different therapeutic approaches (psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy)
to pedophilia, with particular attention to the frequent comorbidity.
