Olanzapine: clinical use in a Psychiatric Service (S.P.D.C.)
This study have the objective to verify the possibility of utilization of the olanzapine in seriusly ill patients with schizophrenia, and with mood disorders, treated as inpatients in an Italian Psychiatric Service (S.P.D.C.).
Are reported the results of treatments carried out in 30 schizophrenic patients, in which have been estimated the efficacy, tollerability, and the way of utilization of olanzapine.
Moreover, are reported the results of treatment of cases in which the olanzapine has been used in patients with psychotic depression, mixed state and in a patient with mania.
