Il modello animale spontaneo: implicazioni
per la fisiopatologia del Disturbo Ossessivo-Compulsivo
A spontaneously occurring animal model: implications for the pathophysiology
of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
This paper reviews literature on the overlap between animal adjunctive behaviour
and human Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Abnormal animal adjunctive behaviour
is compared with behaviour related to human OCD and on these grounds, it is
supported that the spontaneously occurring animal model is valid in studying
OCD.
