Subclinical hypothyroidism and rapid cycling in bipolar mood disoders.
Case report
The alterations in thyroid functioning in relation to several psychiatric disorders have been taken into account.The connection between subclinical hypothyroidism and Bipolar Mood Disorders is particular interesting from a clinical point of view.This work aims to support the hypothesis according to which subclinical hypothyroidism plays a role in causing the rapid cycling of Bipolar Mood Disorder.
